Are you an experienced domestic abuse professional ready to step into a leadership role? We're recruiting for a Senior Safe Accommodation Worker to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of refuge and dispersed safe accommodation services in Basingstoke, supporting adults and children affected by domestic abuse to feel safe, secure and supported.
In this role you'll:
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality accommodation and support services for survivors and their children
- Recruit, supervise and develop a team delivering frontline support
- Build and maintain strong multi-agency relationships with Police, Social Services, Education and Health
- Work with local organisations to raise awareness of domestic abuse and its impact on families
- Take part in an on-call rota providing out-of-hours cover
What we're looking for:
- Experience in domestic abuse, safe accommodation or a related support setting, ideally with some supervisory or leadership experience
- Confident working across multi-agency partnerships
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rota
- Open to female applicants only, in line with a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010
