We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer with deep core expertise in building automated test frameworks, to join a critical government programme. This is an excellent opportunity to work on highly impactful projects while enjoying a flexible, collaborative environment.
Role Overview – App Remediation
The Applications Remediation workstream shares a similar emphasis on quality and engineering excellence as CRS.
The focus is on:
- Improving and modernising existing applications
- Ensuring solutions are robust, maintainable, and built to a high standard
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain API automation frameworks
- Define and implement test strategies aligned with engineering standards
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing at API level
- Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and DevOps engineers
- Ensure solutions are: Robust/ Maintainable/ Scalable
- Embed quality engineering practices across teams
- Contribute to modernisation and remediation of legacy applications
- Identify risks early and drive improvements in quality processes
- Analyse defects, perform root cause analysis, and prevent recurrence
