We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Automotive Service Advisor in Crawley, West Sussex. Duties of the Service Advisor:
  • Greet customers professionally both in person and over the phone
  • Schedule vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs efficiently
  • Manage repair orders with attention to detail and ensure clear communication with customers
  • Conduct vehicle check-ins, assess condition, and record customer requirements
  • Liaise with technicians, workshop controllers, and parts staff to facilitate smooth operations
  • Obtain customer approval for additional work and explain repairs and future maintenance options
  • Arrange vehicle collections, deliveries, and handovers professionally
  • Review vehicle history and identify opportunities for preventative maintenance
  • Support daily service department administration and operational tasks
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the customer journey
Requirements of a Service Advisor:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a dealership environment, ideally with commercial vehicles
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills
  • Strong organisational abilities and high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in dealership management systems; Kerridge or Keyloop experience is advantageous
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Knowledge of warranty procedures and dealership processes is desirable
