We are currently recruiting an experienced Service Advisor on behalf of our client, a reputable independent car centre situated near Slough. This is an excellent Service Advisor opportunity for a skilled automotive professional seeking stability and career development within a well-established, customer-focused environment. The ideal individual will possess strong customer service skills, with experience in automotive aftersales and dealership operations.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary up to £34,000 plus performance-related bonuses, with potential total earnings of approximately £40,000
  • Monday to Friday working hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm, with no requirement to work weekends

Duties of a Service Advisor:
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, delivering a professional and friendly impression
  • Book and schedule service and repair appointments efficiently
  • Provide accurate estimates and clear explanations of work required to build trust
  • Maintain detailed digital service records with relevant customer and vehicle information
  • Foster strong customer relationships to promote repeat business
  • Upsell dealership services and additional products where appropriate
  • Support team members with additional duties as necessary
Requirements of a Service Advisor:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar service reception role within an automotive dealership or repair environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Good digital literacy; familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) preferred
  • Professional and customer-oriented attitude
  • Valid UK driving licence
