We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join a well-established dealership in Chelmsford, Essex. This is a fantastic Service Advisor opportunity for a motivated professional looking to develop their career within the motor trade sector. The successful Service Advisor will deliver excellent customer service, manage workshop bookings, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout their service experience.

Duties of a Service Advisor:
  • Greet customers and build strong relationships to understand their vehicle requirements
  • Manage workshop bookings efficiently to ensure optimal workflow
  • Provide accurate and transparent advice on vehicle services and repairs
  • Liaise with technicians and parts departments to facilitate smooth progress of jobs
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service history
  • Upsell additional services where appropriate to maximise workshop revenue
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the service experience
Requirements of a Service Advisor:
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational abilities and time management skills
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and terminology
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism
  • A proactive approach to delivering exceptional customer care
