We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our established automotive dealership group in Croydon, Surrey. With more than 70 years of operating across London, Kent and Surrey, we represent eight vehicle manufacturers and are recognised for our commitment to employee development and service excellence.

This Service Advisor opportunity offers Monday to Friday hours, 8:00am to 6:00pm, with no weekend working. The basic salary is £32,000, with an achievable OTE of £40,000.

Duties:
  • Welcome customers into the automotive aftersales department
  • Interpret customer concerns and liaise with vehicle technicians
  • Schedule servicing and repairs
  • Discuss additional work with customers and obtain authorisation
  • Provide accurate repair time and cost estimates
  • Track vehicles through the workshop and provide regular progress updates
  • Handle customer complaints and respond to enquiries professionally
  • Complete warranty administration and reporting
  • Deliver consistently high standards of customer service
  • Maximise bonus opportunities through excellent service and appropriate upselling
As a Service Advisor, you will play a vital role in coordinating communication between customers and the workshop. This Service Advisor position is ideal for someone who can build strong customer relationships and manage the complete repair process effectively.

Requirements:
  • At least two years’ customer-facing experience in any industry
  • Previous automotive aftersales or dealership experience is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational and administration abilities
  • The confidence to discuss additional work and obtain customer approval
  • A professional, proactive and customer-focused approach
  • The ability to work effectively with vehicle technicians and colleagues
