Are you an experienced Service Planner or Scheduler looking to join a growing business where your organisation skills will make a real impact?

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and expanding Water Hygiene and Legionella Compliance company that continues to grow through new contract wins and an excellent reputation within the industry. Due to continued growth, they're looking to recruit a Service Planner (Scheduler) to join their busy operations team.

This is a newly created role, making it a fantastic opportunity to become part of an ambitious and growing business. You'll play a key role in ensuring engineers are scheduled efficiently, compliance visits are completed on time and customers continue to receive an exceptional level of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and scheduling Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
  • Managing the company's online scheduling system and works tracker
  • Coordinating engineers' diaries to maximise productivity and efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance visits are completed within agreed timescales
  • Liaising daily with Service Engineers and customers
  • Managing holidays, sickness and resource allocation
  • Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Providing general scheduling and administrative support
  • Working closely with the Operations team to ensure the smooth delivery of contracts

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Service Planner, Scheduler, Resource Planner or Service Coordinator
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using scheduling or planning software
  • The ability to prioritise a busy workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Previous experience within Water Hygiene, Facilities Management, Building Services or another engineering environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
