Service Technician

The Role:

Here at Silcom Recruitment, we have a great client who is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join their established team, based in Fareham.

Our client is a well-established automotive business with a busy workshop operation, offering servicing, diagnostics and vehicle repairs across a wide range of makes and models. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified technician looking to join a professional and customer-focused working environment.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Technician:

Driving Licence (required).

You will ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or an equivalent qualification.

Previous experience working within a main dealership or independent workshop environment is desirable.

Carry out routine vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently.

Complete vehicle inspections and identify any additional maintenance or repair requirements.

Experience working across a variety of vehicle makes and models would be advantageous.

Maintain high standards of workmanship while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

A strong passion for the automotive industry, with a professional and customer-focused approach.

The Package:

Up to £30,000 basic salary.

Monday to Friday 08:00am – 17:30pm – No Weekends!
