Are you an experienced Site Agent with a strong highways infrastructure background and experience delivering earthworks, drainage and surfacing schemes?
We are currently recruiting for a freelance Site Agent to support the delivery of a £6m highways infrastructure scheme in Hampshire, starting in mid-September 2026 for an initial 6-month contract.
The Opportunity
As a Site Agent, you will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery and supervision of highways and civil engineering works, working closely with the project management and site teams to ensure the scheme is delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
The project includes:
·Earthworks
·Drainage
·Utilities and services
·Road surfacing
·Street lighting
·General highways infrastructure works
·Site supervision and coordination
·Quality, health & safety and programme management
About You
The ideal Site Agent will have:
·Proven experience as a Site Agent or Agent within highways
·Strong experience delivering highways infrastructure schemes
·Previous experience across earthworks, drainage, services and surfacing
·Experience working on projects of significant value, ideally £5m+
·Strong understanding of construction delivery, health & safety and quality
·Relevant highways/civil engineering qualifications and site certifications
