CJS Recruitment are seeking an experienced and reliable Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations and manage teams of labourers on active construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while maintaining project schedules and site organisation.
There is potential for longtermn work on Residential and Commercial construction projects in Epsom, London, and other surrounding areas - we are looking for a Site Manager who has experience in both sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate small teams of labourers on site
- Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is completed on schedule
- Enforce health and safety regulations and site procedures
- Allocate tasks and provide guidance to site workers
- Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers as required
- Conduct site inspections and maintain quality standard
- Report progress, issues, and incidents to management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction site supervision
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good understanding of construction health and safety practices
- Ability to read and follow project plans and schedules
- CSCS card and relevant supervision certificates (SSSTS, SMSTS, etc)
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
