Site / Section Engineer

Location: Heathrow Airport, London
Position: Site Engineer / Section Engineer
Shift Pattern: Nights – 20:00 to 06:00
Contract Type: Contract – Inside IR35
Duration: Initial short-term assignment with strong potential for extension and further project work.

We are seeking experienced Site Engineers and Section Engineers to support a major runway paving programme at Heathrow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile aviation infrastructure project within a fast-paced airside environment.

• Setting out and surveying for runway and airfield paving works.
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site activities.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
• Producing and reviewing QA documentation, ITPs and as-built records.
• Monitoring progress and reporting against programme requirements.
• Supporting site management teams with planning and delivery of night works.

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer or Section Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in paving, surfacing, asphalt, concrete or airfield/runway works is highly desirable.
• Proficient with setting out equipment and engineering documentation.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work permanent night shifts in a live operational airport environment.
