Salary: £44,367
Location: Home based with monthly travel to London
Working pattern: 37 hours per week, 6 month fixed-term contract, ASAP start

Behind all of this is a finance team that cares about the people our money serves. We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join us on a 6 month fixed-term contract and help make sure every pound creates better outcomes for the families we support.

You'll join a great finance team. We're friendly, supportive and collaborative, and we bring out the best in each other. You'll work closely with our Head of Finance, and your ideas for improvement will be welcomed and acted on.
You'll work from home. You'll come together with the team about once a month, usually in London, for team and service meetings. You'll also visit services in person at least once a quarter.
You'll have variety and influence. You'll partner with four areas: Fundraising & Marketing, Counselling, Family Support and Prison Services. Each brings its own challenges, people and impact.
What you'll be doing
Act as the trusted finance partner and strategic adviser for your services, offering clear insight, constructive challenge and support
Help budget holders with monthly forecasting, variance analysis and financial modelling
Produce clear, insightful monthly management accounts packs and help redesign them
Support our Fundraising team by building financial models for bids and tenders, costing trust and foundation applications, and tracking restricted funding
Create dashboards and data visualisations that make financial information easy to understand
Support the Head of Finance with budgeting, policies and wider finance projects
What you'll bring
AAT qualified (part-qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA is a bonus)
Experience in financial business partnering, including explaining finance clearly to people who aren't finance specialists
Strong management accounts, reporting and double-entry bookkeeping skills
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with an organised, accurate approach
Charity or fundraising finance experience would be great, but isn't essential
