This role also offers the opportunity to provide support on the production line, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied, hands-on position within a manufacturing environment.
The Stores Operative - MGU Factory will:
- Receive, check and book in deliveries of materials and components.
- Manage stock movements and transactions within the ERP system.
- Store materials in the correct locations while maintaining traceability and stock accuracy.
- Monitor and replenish production line stock levels using Kanban and 2-bin systems.
- Carry out inventory checks and support stock control activities.
- Maintain 5S standards across stores and production areas.
- Support the Supply Chain team and provide production line assistance when required.
- Follow all Health & Safety, quality and continuous improvement procedures.
The Stores Operative - MGU Factory will have:
- Previous experience within a stores, warehouse, manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Good IT skills and experience using ERP systems.
- Strong numerical and organisational skills.
- An understanding of stock control and material handling processes.
- A good awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
- Experience handling and controlling inventory within a manufacturing environment.
