This role would suit a Quality professional and experienced ISO 9001 Lead Auditor who wants to drive continuous improvement across international supply chains.
Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and ongoing continual improvement of a supplier approval system compliant with an Integrated Management System, incorporating ISO 9001, ISO 13485, BS EN 14065, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and Health & Safety standards.
This role specialises in supplier performance quality, ensuring products and services supplied meet agreed specifications and that facilities have suitable systems and controls to demonstrate required capability.
The Supplier Quality Auditor will be responsible for:

Supplier relationships: Represent the business on suppliers’ sites and act as the primary interface on supplier quality issues.

Auditing and corrective actions: Plan, schedule, and perform external supplier audits (including international audits), generating audit reports and ensuring corrective actions are closed out.

Procurement collaboration: Partner with Procurement during supplier selection to assess risk and obtain relevant approval documentation and technical specifications.

Compliance and records: Ensure supplier documentation is correctly filed, stored, and available, and associated systems are up to date.

Internal audits and risk management: Conduct internal audits to identify quality issues, assess system effectiveness, and monitor Supplier Quality KPIs, CAPAs, and supplier performance.

Team support: Assist the QSHE team with daily activities, assist with training, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
The ideal Supplier Quality Auditor will have:

Core Technical Expertise: Detailed knowledge and practical experience managing QMS (particularly ISO 9001:2015), ISO 9001 Lead Auditor experience, and auditor experience in ISO 13485

Education and Mobility: A Science degree (or equivalent experience), a full UK/EU manual driving license, and willingness/ability to conduct international audits independently.

Personal attributes: A self-motivated, highly determined mindset with a drive to affect change, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently to deadlines.

IT and System Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint).

Desirable Experience: GMP background, ERP systems experience, validation training, or internal auditor qualifications.
