Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Hays Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil at a welcoming primary school in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive both academically and socially.

The Role

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a pupil who requires additional support throughout the school day. You will help them access learning activities, build confidence, and create a positive and engaging learning experience.

Responsibilities

✅ Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil in the classroom
✅ Supporting learning and development in line with the teacher's guidance
✅ Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
✅ Building a strong, trusting relationship with the pupil
✅ Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents where required

What We're Looking For

✔ Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or support setting
✔ A patient, caring, and proactive approach
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
✔ A passion for supporting children's learning and development
✔ Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable but not essential
