TeacherActive is proud to be working with an OFSTED rated ‘Outstanding’ 2-form entry Primary School in Altrincham. The school provides a positive and supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence and achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis from October, working as a class Teaching Assistant within Year 2. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils throughout the school day and must be confident leading group work in Phonics, English and Maths.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience supporting pupils within a Primary School setting
• Experience working with children in Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Confidence leading Phonics, English and Maths group work
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A positive, patient and adaptable approach
