Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work full time at a welcoming secondary school in Alcester (B49) from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone with relevant school-based experience who is passionate about supporting students both academically and personally.
The Role:- Support students in the classroom, working alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and small group interventions to help students achieve their learning goals.
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote an inclusive learning environment.
- Support students with varying learning needs, helping them to build confidence and independence.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider school team.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar school-based support role (essential).
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Previous experience supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis- leading interventions to support with students learning.
- Any prior experience working with children with special educational needs (desired but not essential).
- A proactive, patient and adaptable approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills- ability to follow the direction of the class teacher whilst also being able to show initiative and autonomy over your work.
- Full-time availability from September 2026.
- Competitive daily pay of £90–£105, depending on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
