EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Blackpool
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3:30pm
Contract: Temporary until December 2026 (with potential to become permanent

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic individual to support children in the Early Years at a crucial stage of their development, within a welcoming and supportive school environment.

The Role:

  • Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day EYFS provision
  • Working with small groups and individual pupils
  • Supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing
  • Assisting with personal care where required
  • Helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working within an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
  • Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic
  • Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Be able to work well as part of a team
  • Hold relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)

The role is temporary until December 2026, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
