SEN Teaching Assistant 

We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work within an SEN provision in a school.

Full-time and part-time hours are available, with ongoing opportunities for the right candidates.

The Role

• Support SEN learners in the classroom and during activities.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required.
• Assist learners with their learning, development and wellbeing.
• Support students with personal care – this is an essential part of the role.
• Work closely with teaching staff and the wider support team.
• Help create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• Previous SEN experience is essential.
• Must be comfortable providing personal care.
• Must hold a valid DBS.
• Experience working in a school or SEN setting is highly desirable.
• A patient, caring and supportive approach.
