We are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work within specialist schools and alternative provisions across Burnley. You'll be supporting both primary and secondary-aged pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The Role
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Assisting students with additional learning, communication and emotional needs.
- Helping to create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment.
- Supporting teachers with classroom activities and behaviour management.
- Encouraging students to develop confidence, independence and social skills.
- Working across a variety of specialist provisions to meet the individual needs of each setting.
What We're Looking For
- Personal or professional experience supporting children or adults with additional needs.
- A positive, patient and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Flexibility to work across schools in the Burnley areas.
Essential Requirements
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (UDS), or willingness to apply and pay for a new Enhanced DBS.
- A minimum of two years' employment references.
- The right to work in the UK.
