Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership in Hereford, is seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department.   • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:30am-12:30pm
Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Accurately diagnose faults and report on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality procedures as a Vehicle Technician
  • Maintain consistent high standards in a busy franchise environment
  • Support the Service Department in meeting efficiency and quality targets
  • Optional: Hold an active MOT licence (training provided if not already possessed)
  • Contribute to team targets and uphold excellent customer service standards
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Hereford
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Demonstrate commitment, professionalism, and the ability to produce high-quality work
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Motivated to work towards individual and team targets
  • An active MOT licence is advantageous but not essential, as full training is provided
