Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
  • Identify and report vehicle faults accurately, ensuring safety, reliability, and performance criteria are met
  • Complete repairs efficiently within the workshop environment
  • Adhere to manufacturer procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols
  • Contribute effectively as part of a team under the supervision of the Service Manager
  • Maintain detailed, accurate service and repair records
  • Assist with additional workshop tasks as required
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Proven experience within a franchised dealership environment
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Ideally hold an active MOT licence; full training available if not
  • Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic skills
  • Able to produce high-quality work under time constraints
  • Good team player with a professional and proactive attitude
  • Reliable, motivated, and committed to continuous development
  • Residing within a reasonable commuting distance of North Bristol
