Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a new opportunity within a prestigious main dealer? Our client, a renowned dealership in Canterbury, Kent, is actively recruiting for a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their professional workshop team. This permanent role offers excellent prospects for career development within a recognised automotive brand.

  • Competitive basic salary up to £37,000 depending on experience
  • OTE up to £45,000 with additional earnings through productivity and time-saving bonus schemes
  • Manufacturer accredited training, including Hybrid and Electric vehicle qualifications

  • Clear career progression within a recognised dealership
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30 - 17:00
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota, 8:30 - 12:30
  • Additional earning opportunities via bonuses
Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct vehicle health checks using advanced technology
  • Perform servicing in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
  • Carry out repairs and warranty work to high standards
  • Road test vehicles to identify and confirm fault rectification
  • Complete all relevant documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Support the workshop team with additional tasks as required
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician: 
  • Full UK driving licence essential
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification required
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, ideally within a main dealer or reputable independent garage
  • Motivated, ambitious, and eager to develop within the automotive industry
  • Strong commitment to high standards and customer service
  • Prior experience with reputable brands is advantageous but not essential, as full training is provided
