A leading independent dealership in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their expanding team. Vehicle Technician Duties:
  • Conduct vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and fault finding on various vehicle systems
  • Carry out mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, tyres, and air conditioning
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and assist with general workshop duties
  • Identify additional work and provide accurate technical feedback
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, to a high standard and in compliance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Work collaboratively as part of a skilled workshop team to meet service standards
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
  • Extensive hands-on experience with modern vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Experience working on petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric vehicles is highly desirable
  • MOT Tester Licence would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Professional approach with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and manage tasks efficiently
  • Stable employment history with a genuine desire for long-term commitment
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the workshop environment
