We are representing a reputable automotive dealership in Birmingham, seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering excellent career progression and a comprehensive benefits package. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring repairs meet manufacturer standards
  • Conducting video vehicle health checks to assess vehicle condition and identify additional work or upselling opportunities
  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections to uphold dealership quality standards
  • Collaborating closely with workshop management to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication
  • Staying updated with the latest diagnostic techniques and technological advancements through regular training sessions
  • Supporting colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and vehicle care
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 NVQ, City and Guilds, or equivalent qualification in vehicle maintenance or diagnostics
  • Proven experience in a vehicle technician role, ideally within a dealership environment
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills with a focus on quality and efficiency
  • A proactive attitude toward learning and professional development
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work weekends as required
