We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established multi-franchise car dealer group operating across South West England. The Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in providing diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services to a high standard, working within a reputable dealership in Salisbury.   • Working hours: 8:30am-4:30/5:00pm (pending a 30/60-minute lunch) Monday to Friday, with rotational Saturday mornings from 8:30am-12:30pm
Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repair work on a range of vehicles according to manufacturer standards
  • Accurately report vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance to the Workshop Controller
  • Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety standards, and service procedures
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through technical expertise and professionalism
  • Adhere to manufacturer guidelines and health & safety regulations at all times
  • Support team goals by working efficiently and accurately within a busy main dealer environment
Requirements:
  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Alternatively, Level 2 qualified Vehicle Technicians looking to further their qualification through training
  • A valid UK driving licence is essential
  • Previous experience working in a main dealer or franchised environment is preferred
  • Individuals with an active MOT Smart Card will be highly advantageous, though not essential
  • Strong work ethic, team player, and motivated to meet targets and deliver quality work
