Are you an organised, hands-on Warehouse Manager looking for a varied role with genuine opportunities to develop new skills?
We’re recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join a growing flooring business. This is far more than a traditional warehouse role, offering a fantastic mix of warehouse management, stock control, deliveries, customer interaction and hands-on site work.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring materials are received, checked, stored and prepared correctly for upcoming installations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing incoming deliveries and checking materials for quality, quantity and accuracy.
- Maintaining stock levels and updating stock records.
- Monitoring upcoming installation schedules and ensuring materials are ready.
- Liaising with suppliers and chasing outstanding deliveries.
- Preparing materials and picking lists for installation teams.
- Delivering flooring materials to customers when required.
- Supporting installation teams on larger projects.
- Assisting with floor preparation, screeding, floor uplifts and manual handling.
- Completing smaller flooring installations independently once trained.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse.
- Carrying out collections, waste management and other general duties.
- Managing your own workload to ensure deadlines are met.
Full Training Provided
You do not need previous flooring experience for this position.
Full training will be provided in:
- Subfloor preparation
- Screed application
- LVT installation
- Click SPC flooring
- Laminate flooring
- Engineered and solid wood flooring
- Parquet flooring

About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A full UK driving licence.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- A reliable and proactive approach to work.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- The physical ability to undertake manual handling.
Previous warehouse, flooring, construction or building supplies experience would be advantageous, although full training is available.
