• £14.30 per hour for rotating shifts
• £14.77 per hour for continental shifts

About the Role

Westray Recruitment are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy warehouse and logistics environment.

This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with previous warehouse, production, logistics or FLT experience. The successful candidate will support day-to-day warehouse operations, including stock movement, order preparation, loading, unloading, housekeeping and general site duties.

An FLT licence would be advantageous, however this does not need to be current or externally accredited. Candidates with an in-house or expired licence may also be considered, as internal training can be provided.

Shift Patterns

There are two shift options available:

Option 1: Weekly Rotational Shifts
Monday to Friday on a weekly rotating basis:

• 06:00 to 14:00
• 14:00 to 22:00

Pay Rate: £14.30 per hour

Option 2: Continental Shift Pattern
06:00 to 18:00, working a continental shift pattern which includes weekend working.

Pay Rate: £14.77 per hour

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Carrying out general warehouse operative duties
• Supporting goods-in and goods-out activity
• Loading and unloading vehicles and containers
• Moving stock safely around the warehouse and site
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Checking stock and reporting any discrepancies
• Supporting stock control and inventory checks
• Assisting with production or operational tasks where required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following site health and safety procedures at all times
• Operating FLT equipment where trained and authorised
• Providing general support across the warehouse and wider operation as needed

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous warehouse, production, logistics or industrial experience
• A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
• The ability to work safely in a busy operational environment
• Good attention to detail
• Confidence working as part of a team
• Flexibility to support across different warehouse duties
• Willingness to complete internal training where required

An FLT licence would be advantageous, including in-house or expired licences.
