Role: Warehouse Operative

Location: Sharnbrook, Bedford

Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00AM - 20:00PM

Salary: £12.98 an hour, weekly pay 

Temporary to Permanent opportunity available

Immediate Start + Must Drive due to location

OA are currently working with a well established client based in Bedford, currently looking to recruit for an experienced, Warehouse Operative to work alongside the team.

Duties of a Warehouse Operative:

• Use a handheld scanner to pick orders from racking
• Pack the orders and load onto pallets.
• Read orders from the pick paperwork, with accuracy
• Prepare pallets and shipments for courier collection and distribution
• Follow all instructions from Supervisor / managers
• Work in a safe responsible manner. Follow all H&S instructions

• Previous experienced as a Warehouse Operative is essential 
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to deadlines.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Previous experience with handheld scanners
