Location: Measham, Derbyshire (DE12)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Pay Rate: £13.25 - £13.70 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Rotating weekly shifts:

• 7:00am – 3:30pm
• 10:00am – 6:30pm

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Warehouse Operatives to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation based in Measham. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will be responsible for the accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of products while ensuring all warehouse processes are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately check, pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders.
• Receive, inspect, sort, and store incoming goods.
• Report stock discrepancies, damages, or operational issues promptly to management.
• Maintain excellent communication with colleagues and other departments.
• Ensure warehouse areas remain clean, organised, and safe at all times.
• Assist with stock takes and regular cycle counts, including occasional overtime or weekend work when required.
• Support the opening and closing procedures of the warehouse facility.
• Process returned goods in line with company procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training and development activities.
• Operate materials handling equipment where authorised and trained.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping within your designated work area.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year's warehouse experience, including goods-in, stock control, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Good numerical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and use initiative.
• Experience using warehouse management systems is advantageous; SAP experience would be beneficial.
• Good level of physical fitness, as manual handling and lifting are required as part of the role.

Desirable Skills

• Flexi Truck or Forklift experience.
• Valid MHE/Forklift licence (training can be provided for suitable candidates).
