Warehouse Operative – Rotherham / Wath Area

Pay: Starting at £13.10 per hour, progressing to £15.00 per hour
Bonus: Up to £1,040 per annum attendance & attitude bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Shifts: Rotating Days & Afters – 6:00am–2:30pm / 2:00pm–10:30pm
Location: Rotherham / Wath area

Recruitment Pro are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives on behalf of a well-established and successful client within the retail and distribution sector.

You'll join a busy warehouse and distribution operation where products are prepared, processed and dispatched to fulfil customer orders.

Pay & Progression

You'll initially join at Foundation level on £13.10 per hour.

Following successful completion of your first 13 weeks of employment, you'll progress to Bronze level at £13.50 per hour.

From there, continued training, development and performance can see your hourly rate progress through:

• Foundation – £13.10 per hour
• Bronze – £13.50 per hour
• Silver – £14.00 per hour
• Gold – £14.50 per hour
• Diamond – £15.00 per hour

Working Hours

This position operates on a rotating Monday-to-Friday shift pattern:

Days: 6:00am–2:30pm
Afters: 2:00pm–10:30pm

40 hours per week, with overtime opportunities available.

Overtime rates:

• Monday to Friday after 40 hours – 1.25x
• Weekends – 1.5x

The Role

The position involves working within a busy warehouse operation, picking, moving and preparing products to meet customer orders.

Your duties will include:

• Manual handling and movement of stock
• Picking products against customer orders
• Preparing and cutting products to customer requirements
• Bagging and preparing completed orders
• Operating warehouse machinery
• Moving products between processing and dispatch areas
• Preparing products for dispatch
• Loading vehicles ready for transport
• Following safe operating procedures
• Working efficiently to achieve daily targets
• Maintaining good Health & Safety standards throughout the warehouse
