£33,000 per annum
37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 3pm finish on Fridays

Abatec is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of a busy warehouse in Wellington, Somerset.

This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate management of warehouse activities, supporting production and customer deliveries through effective stock control, material flow, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including goods in, storage, picking, and dispatch.
• Maintain accurate stock control, inventory records, and ERP transactions.
• Manage material kitting to support production schedules.
• Lead, train, and develop the warehouse team.
• Carry out stock counts, audits, and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
• Drive improvements in warehouse efficiency, stock accuracy, and OTIF performance.
• Work closely with Production, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics teams.

About You

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
• Knowledge of stock control and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• A proactive approach with excellent organisational and people management skills.
• Manufacturing or electronics experience would be an advantage.
