We are currently working with a range of primary and secondary schools across Cardiff who are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and committed Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside teachers and school staff to support pupils with their learning, development, and wellbeing.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom
• Working with pupils individually, in small groups, or as part of the whole class
• Supporting pupils with reading, writing, numeracy, and other areas of learning
• Helping children develop their confidence, independence, and communication skills
• Supporting pupils who may require additional learning or behavioural support
• Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a supportive classroom environment
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities, resources, displays, and preparation
• Supporting pupils during break times, lunch, school trips, and wider school activities where required
• Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff
• Helping to promote pupils' wellbeing, inclusion, and safety
• Adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of different pupils

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and adaptable attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Confidence working with children in a school environment
• Willingness to learn and develop your skills
• Previous classroom, childcare, youth work, or education experience is welcomed but not essential
