Workday People System Manager

Workday People Systems Manager | East of England – Hybrid

We are recruiting for an experienced Workday People Systems Manager to join a leading organisation in the East of England.

This is a hands-on management role combining Workday delivery, system optimisation, service management and team leadership. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the continued development, stability and performance of the Workday platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Workday People Systems function

• Provide hands-on support across Workday HCM configuration and optimisation

• Oversee Workday support, incidents, service requests and change

• Lead Workday configuration, enhancements and implementation activity

• Ensure effective Workday Security and Data Governance

• Drive continuous improvement and optimisation of Workday processes

• Lead, mentor and develop the Workday team

• Work closely with HR, Payroll, IT and wider business stakeholders

Key Requirements

• 5+ years' hands-on Workday experience

• Strong Workday HCM background

• Proven Workday configuration and implementation experience

• Strong knowledge of Workday Security and Data Governance

• Experience managing Workday support, incidents and change

• Previous experience leading and developing Workday teams

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Ability to combine hands-on Workday expertise with people management
