Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Workplace Host who plays a key role in shaping a welcoming workplace and delivering an exceptional experience for both clients and colleagues.

Job Overview

Acting as an ambassador for the organisation, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, professional service across all customer touchpoints. This role is central to ensuring every interaction within the workplace reflects excellence, efficiency, and care.

As part of the Workplace Experience team, you will help curate environments that support well-being, productivity, and engagement. The position focuses on creating inspiring and functional spaces where colleagues and visitors feel connected, supported, and motivated throughout their day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance the client and guest experience by proactively identifying opportunities to exceed expectations
  • Act as the main point of contact for colleagues and visitors, managing enquiries in person and via telephone
  • Deliver a professional, 5-star reception service through effective communication and presentation
  • Support workplace experience activities including technology assistance, catering, events, and wellness initiatives
  • Manage the Visitor Management System to ensure accurate and efficient registration processes
  • Work closely with the Workplace Lead to support operational improvements and decision-making
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and visitors
  • Ensure the workplace is clean, organised, and presentable, reporting any maintenance or service issues

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in a corporate, hospitality, or customer-facing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach to work
  • Strong organisational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-focused service
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices
