Wraparound Care Support Staff – Croydon


Location: Croydon, London, CR2
Salary: £14.24–£15 per hour
Contract: Part-time, long-term temporary
Start date: 1 September 2026
Transparency Education is recruiting experienced Wraparound Care Support Staff for a friendly primary-school provision in Croydon. The successful candidate will help deliver safe, enjoyable and well-organised care before and/or after the school day.

Key responsibilities
• Supervise children during breakfast-club or after-school sessions.
• Prepare and lead age-appropriate games, creative activities and quiet tasks.
• Support safe arrival, collection and handover arrangements.
• Assist with refreshments while following food-hygiene and allergy procedures.
• Promote positive behaviour and ensure children feel included.
• Record and report accidents, incidents or safeguarding concerns appropriately.

Requirements
• Experience working with primary-aged children in childcare, education, playwork or a similar setting.
• A warm, energetic and responsible approach.
• Availability during the required before-school and/or after-school hours.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Paediatric first-aid or food-hygiene training is desirable.
