Year 6 Teacher - Long-Term Cover | Leyland

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a lovely school in Leyland from December, covering a planned maternity leave.

This is a long-term, full-time position and would be ideal for an experienced teacher who is confident teaching Year 6 and preparing pupils for their SATs.

The school is a welcoming and supportive environment, with a small Year 6 class of well-behaved and engaged pupils. The successful candidate will join a friendly team and will be supported throughout the placement.

The successful candidate must:

• Have proven Year 6 teaching experience
• Have experience preparing and delivering SATs
• Be confident with the Year 6 curriculum and assessment
• Be able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Be committed to supporting pupils to achieve their full potential
• Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

• Duration: Long-term, covering maternity leave
• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Year group: Year 6
• Experience: Previous Year 6 and SATs experience is essential
