Pay Range: £168.80 – £232.58 per day (equivalent to MPS1–MPS6), dependent on experience

ANZUK Education is working with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Gravesend seeking a Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis. This full-time position offers the opportunity to inspire and support pupils as they develop their confidence, independence and love of learning within Key Stage 2, delivering engaging and creative lessons within a supportive and collaborative school environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Year 3 Teacher:

• Teach and inspire a Year 3 class through engaging, purposeful and creative lessons across the curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom where pupils feel valued and encouraged to develop confidence and independence.
• Use adaptive teaching to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners, including pupils with SEND.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to support individual needs and maintain high expectations for all.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff, coordinating classroom support to maximise pupil learning and progress.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families, promoting high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Have recent experience teaching within a UK primary school, ideally including Key Stage 2.
• Have strong classroom management skills and a confident, adaptable approach, with a good understanding of adaptive teaching and SEND.
• Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment and behaviour, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hold an exemplary commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with an enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and eligibility to work in the UK.
• Bring a genuine passion for primary education, working collaboratively as part of a wider school team.
