Our client, a reputable three-site automotive repair business based in Cardiff, is expanding and seeking a skilled Vehicle Service Advisor to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to progress their career within a dynamic and growing organisation.

Duties of a Service Advisor:
  • Manage workload and customer deadlines efficiently in a busy service department
  • Liaise closely with the workshop team to chase work in progress
  • Keep customers informed throughout the service and repair process
  • Upsell additional products and services to maximise workshop efficiency
  • Deliver high levels of customer service to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Allocate tasks effectively among team members and prioritize customer needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and utilise IT systems (experience with Kerridge preferable but not essential)
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and colleagues
Requirements of a Service Advisor:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • IT literacy, with familiarity with dealership management systems (Kerridge experience preferred but not mandatory)
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional attitude with a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience
