Contract: 12 months with the potential to extend
Rate: £400–£450 per day
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Pembrokeshire, working on the construction and delivery of a new train station platform and associated car park.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Site Engineer with a strong civil engineering background to join a long-term project on a 12-month contract.
Rail experience is desirable but not essential. Candidates with strong civils, infrastructure or highways experience who are comfortable working in a site-based environment are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out works accurately in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Supporting the site team with the delivery of civil engineering works.
- Carrying out site measurements, surveys and checks as required.
- Preparing for upcoming works and ensuring all necessary information is available to the site team.
- Undertaking site assurance and quality checks.
- Reviewing drawings and specifications and identifying any issues or discrepancies.
- Liaising with Site Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and the wider project team.
- Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
- Ensuring works are completed safely, accurately and in line with project specifications.
- Supporting the project team with general engineering and technical requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within a civils or infrastructure environment.
- Strong setting out experience.
- A good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience with site assurance and quality control.
- A strong understanding of civil engineering construction methods.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team.
- Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent site experience.
Rail experience is advantageous but not essential. Experience working on station, platform, highways, infrastructure, or other major civils projects would be highly beneficial.
