The Opportunity

A respected regional contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to deliver refurbishment and new-build projects across Bristol and the surrounding area.

You will be trusted to take ownership of your site from mobilisation through to handover, working with an experienced Contracts Manager and commercial team to deliver projects safely, on programme and to a consistently high standard. The varied workload means you will gain exposure to different project types rather than becoming tied to one repetitive sector.

Role Overview

You will lead the day-to-day running of the site, coordinating subcontractors, managing logistics and making sure the short-term programme remains aligned with the wider project plan. You will maintain high standards of health and safety, quality and housekeeping while resolving issues quickly enough to keep works moving.

You will work closely with clients, consultants and internal teams, providing clear progress updates and ensuring expectations are managed throughout delivery. From site setup and subcontractor coordination through to snagging and handover, you will be the person driving the project forward and setting the standard for the wider site team.

About You

You are an experienced Site Manager with a main contractor background and a track record of delivering refurbishment or general build projects successfully. You are confident managing subcontractors, interpreting programmes and drawings and maintaining strong relationships with clients and consultants.

You will ideally hold SMSTS, First Aid and an appropriate CSCS Card, together with a full UK driving licence. Most importantly, you are organised, proactive and take genuine pride in delivering quality projects.
