Tekne have grown since starting out back in 1972 into a leading joinery and construction firm, now working from a 32,000 sq ft factory in Poole and delivering bespoke joinery for some of the country's most prestigious restaurants and hotels. They're looking for a skilled Wood Machinist to join their Wood Mill & Machine Shop team.

As a Wood Machinist, you will benefit from:

• Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:30, with a 30 minute lunch break at 1pm and a 15 minute break at 10am
• Overtime available at an increased rate

As a Wood Machinist, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a spindle moulder, resaw and 5 cutter to produce components to specification
• Working from drawings and cutting lists to produce accurate, high-quality timber components
• Selecting and setting up appropriate tooling for each job
• Maintaining a safe, organised working environment
• Working closely with the wider joinery and machine shop team to meet project deadlines

As a Wood Machinist, your experience will include:

• Proven experience operating a spindle moulder, resaw and 5 cutter, or similar wood machining equipment
• Good understanding of timber types and machining techniques
• Ability to read drawings and cutting lists accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality finish
• Comfortable working as part of a skilled workshop team
