We are recruiting for an Account Manager to join a well-established organisation overseeing a complex operational contract in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused leader to take ownership of performance, client relationships and strategic growth.

Based across key sites in Bristol, you'll play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence while leading a successful team and delivering outstanding service standards.

As an Account Manager, you'll enjoy significant autonomy, responsibility and the opportunity to influence both operational and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

You'll take ownership of a senior leadership position, leading a multi-site operation across Bristol and ensuring exceptional service delivery throughout.

  • Lead a large-scale PFI contract, ensuring compliance and service excellence
  • Take full ownership of P&L performance, budgets, forecasting and growth opportunities
  • Oversee asset management and lifecycle planning
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Lead, motivate and develop operational teams
  • Drive continuous improvement across performance, efficiency and service delivery
  • Champion health & safety and compliance standards
  • Support business planning, contract development and future opportunities
  • Act as the senior client lead and escalation point

What we're looking for:

We're looking for a confident leader who can balance commercial performance with excellent client management.

  • Experience managing PFI contracts, FM operations or multi-site services
  • Strong commercial awareness with proven P&L responsibility
  • Experience managing contracts, portfolios or large operational services
  • Proven senior-level client relationship management experience
  • Strong leadership and people development skills
  • Experience driving change, performance improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements
  • Confidence using performance data and metrics to support decision-making

Desirable:

  • Experience within justice, public sector or regulated environments
  • Exposure to contract mobilisation, bids or growth projects
  • Relevant FM or technical qualifications such as IWFM or NEBOSH
